We are a small team of PTs based on the shore. Training out of a private facility, we work with a range of people and support them in achieving their goals. Active Edge aims to make personal training more accessible and to build a community of healthy and motivated members.

FAQs
Do you offer other membership types, packages or one off sessions? Yes we do! The 1-on-1 pricing structure is as follows: 30-Min $50 45-Min $60 60-Min $70 If you train privately 2 or 3 times weekly with us, the price per session is reduced. Please contact us for more information.
Do I need to be a member at your gym? It depends. If you are training exclusively during training sessions then you will not need to pay for a membership at the gym we are based out of. You get free access to the public gym and our private training space for your sessions with us. If you are training outside of your sessions, then you will need a membership at our gym (The Y North Shore Fitness Centre) or another gym of your choice. If you are interested in a membership at The Y, you get a discounted rate on their no commitment membership ($16.95/Week instead of $21.50/Week)
How do I book in my sessions? During the consultation process we will find weekly times that fit in with your schedule. These times will be reserved for you each week until you cancel your membership. If you can’t make it to your reserved weekly session(s) we will attempt to find another time that works for you, subject to availability. Commitment to your weekly session(s) is essential to make consistent progress towards your goal(s).
What is your membership cancellation policy? We have a two week cancellation policy. The two weeks start from the day you notify us. As our clients are our income, we need the two weeks to try to fill in your session time(s).
Am I too unfit or inexperienced with exercise to work with a personal trainer? No! We will help teach you proper exercise technique and ensure your training is perfect for you, no matter your level of fitness.
